The owners of the motel are top notch!!! Amazing hospitality! The hosts made my stay absolutely perfect with a wonderful gazebo for smokers and the most perfect place to sit and enjoy the stay and a great space to relax with a friend. Very clean and a wonderful location. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom/shower was spotless!!!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, great value. It's not a modern motel, but it's modern enough. Refrigerator, microwave, comfortable bed. Jackie, the owner, provides service as good as your Mother's. I recommend it.

What a great little value stay! A super clean room with large fridge/freezer and a very comfortable bed. Jackie, the owner, checked us in and out and was an absolute sweetheart. She even scraped the frost off of our windshield before we left in the morning. Highly recommend!

This was a very nice motel, a great value for the price. The owners greeted us and were very friendly and helpful. Probably the best check-in experience I have ever had at a motel like this. The owner gave us a choice between two different rooms. The beds were very comfortable, with memory foam mattresses that were medium-firm or so. We slept great! The location was perfect for us as we made our way up to Olympic NP.

Definitely the best stay I've had in a motel. I'm currently experiencing homelessness and I got some help with a room by my great grandma for a couple nights and it was great! The people working there were super duper nice and accommodating, and I felt safe and secure the whole time I was there. The rooms felt quality and nice, with all of the basic amenities, including coffee! The location is nice and mostly quiet, but it's a bit of a hike to get to the store from there. Overall it was very nice and I'm very satisfied overall.

Such a great place to stay! The rooms were so comfy and clean, the host greeted us with such warmth. I even forgot my jacket there and they called me to let me know and held onto it for me until I could pick it up, 10/10 would recommend, the is now our go to spot on the peninsula. :)

I called this motel looking for a place to stay between the Quinault area and Olympia. It was just what I needed after 4 days backpacking. My room had a little kitchenette with fridge (with a freezer that actually froze), microwave and sink. There are no utensils or cookware. It is a little rustic, and the owners are updating it. I needed hot water, working wifi, a fridge and a place to rest. It was perfect. The owners are kind and accommodating. I only intended to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 3. Hoquiam is an adorable town.

We were just looking for a place to spend the night while visiting the Olympic Peninsula, but our stay at Shiny Motel ended up being a really wonderful part of our visit. Our family stayed in the suite with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. It was colorful, clean, cozy and well/stocked (pans, plates, utensils, etc). Staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way for us (thank you, Jackie!). We felt safe and happy there and appreciated being able to easily come and go from Shiny Motel to the ocean, forests and home.
